It is Sunday, the 19th of January 2020, and thus far two of my short horrors have been published on Amazon. I am on the verge of completing my 3rd and should soon have it published (hopefully by the end of this following week). The first book is about a young adult woman and her friend who are off on a midnight walk hoping for an exciting adventure before college starts back up. However, their innocent, exciting walk quickly turns rather dark and the protagonist is left having to fight for her survival. The second short story is about a young man who works at a kiosk cafe and begins to have paranormal experiences whilst at work. The entity soon follows him home and it gets a little out of control. The third story I'm working on is about a small group of friends who play a little game of Ouija and it goes wrong.

My current schedule is to have A Game of Wicca completed by this coming weekend. Then, I'm hoping to have the fourth book, which I have not yet decided on, completed by the end of February. I am really happy with how far I've come with this goal already. And I feel content with the progress and speed that I am currently working on. Saying that, I am striving to get into a habit of writing 500 words every day, and despite doing, what I think, is an acceptable amount of writing every week I think I could do slightly better, which could help me progress and practice my writing skills further. Therefore, note to self, WRITE MORE!

The reason I want to complete this goal, and the reason as to why I added this goal to my bucket list in the first place is because I've always wanted to become a professional author and I needed the motivation to propel me, and nothing makes me feel any more fearless, and as though I can achieve anything, in the way that my bucket list can. There are no ifs or buts when it comes to my bucket list, if it's on the list, it's getting done! That's a promise I made to myself. And this is making sure that I stay on course and remain accountable for my progress and dedicated to achieving this long term goal.
“You don’t start out writing good stuff. You start out writing crap and thinking it’s good stuff, and then gradually you get better at it. That’s why I say one of the most valuable traits is persistence.” ― Octavia E. Butler
